Bronze Age Lighting has no Google Business Profile, and neither does Design REsource Hawaii. This is what that is costing you, and what I do about it every month.
I ran these searches on Google Maps on August 7, 2026, signed out, the same way a customer would. Here is what came back, and what I do about each one.
Search "Bronze Age Lighting Honolulu" on Google Maps and Bronze Age does not appear at all. Six other lighting companies do: Elegant Lighting (4.8 stars, 29 reviews), Lighting Concepts (4.6, 33), Valley Isle Lighting (4.2, 18), Beachside Lighting (4.2, 5), Eggshell Lighting (5.0, 1) and Illuminage Group.
Create and verify a real Google Business Profile for Bronze Age, with the right business category, service area, hours, phone and a description written for how people actually search for custom lighting.
Search "Design REsource Hawaii Honolulu" and Google hands back a computer consultant called Educational Resource Designs instead. Design REsource has no listing either, so the second business is invisible on the map too.
The same setup for Design REsource, kept clearly separate from Bronze Age: its own profile, its own category, its own photos, so the two businesses do not blur together or compete with each other.
No profile means no reviews on Google. Twenty years of work at the Royal Hawaiian, Duke's, Vintage Cave and Aulani, and a customer comparing you to a shop with 33 reviews sees nothing at all on your side.
Set up a one-tap review link and QR code you can hand to trade clients, then reply to every review that comes in, good or bad, in your voice, usually within a day.
With no profile there is no Call button, no Directions button, no hours and no photos when someone searches on a phone. There is nothing for them to tap, so they tap a competitor.
Load your real fixtures and installs as profile photos, keep hours and contact details current, and post to the profile every week so it stays active instead of going stale.
Google publishes this. Local results come down to relevance, distance and prominence. One of them you cannot change. The other two are exactly what I work on for you, every month.
How well your profile matches what the person typed. Google says complete, detailed business information is what helps it match you to the right searches.
Fill the profile out properly and keep it that way: categories, service area, hours, your product lines, and a description written around what people actually type, from "custom lighting Honolulu" to "copper sconce" to hospitality and resort work.
How far you are from the person searching. Nobody can change this one.
Make sure you are on the map at all, with a verified location and the right service area. Today there is no pin for either business, so when somebody nearby searches, distance is never even measured for you. You are not losing that race. You are not in it.
How well known the business is. Google names two things it uses here: how many sites link to you, and how many reviews you have. It says more reviews and positive ratings can help your local ranking.
This is the one most shops never work. I build the review habit for you (one-tap link, printed QR card, every review answered), keep photos and weekly posts coming, and match your name, address and phone between the profile and the new site.
And the part nobody else will tell you: Google states plainly that there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking. So there is no trick to sell you. There is only doing the things Google says it looks at, doing them every month, and showing you the numbers. That is the whole plan.

The full list, per business, and what each piece is there to do for you. Setup and verification are part of the plan, not a separate bill.
Two businesses, kept separate. Bronze Age Lighting and Design REsource Hawaii each get their own profile, their own posts, their own photos and their own report. Nothing is shared or recycled between them.
Month to month, no contract, cancel any time. Setup and verification are included in the first month for either option.
Just Bronze Age: $300/mo, same list, one business. Adding Design REsource later: still $200/mo, the package rate holds. Prepay a year: two months free on either option.
Most of the monthly work is judgment: what to post, how to answer a review, which photos earn their place. Once I am already in your accounts every week, the second business costs me time, not thinking. So it is $200 instead of $300, and it stays $200 for as long as you keep both.

How long until the profiles are live? I can build both in a few days. Verification is Google's clock, not mine: it is often quick, and it can take a couple of weeks if they ask for a postcard or a video walkthrough of the warehouse. I handle the whole process either way.
Will this put me at the top of Google? Nobody can promise that, and I will not. What I can promise is the work above, done every month, and honest numbers from Google's own reporting so you can see what it is doing.
Who owns the profiles? You do, both of them, under your Google account with me added as a manager. Cancel any time and I step off. Nothing goes with me.
Reply and tell me one business or both, and I will send the secure Stripe link to start.

Bronze Age Lighting only, $300/mo · Both businesses, $500/mo
A Maui firefighter who builds and runs websites for local businesses. Real person, real phone, no call centers.
You have seen it on the website build: I show you the real thing before you decide, I tell you what I actually found instead of dressing it up, and I answer the phone. Your Google profiles get the same treatment, every month, on the same number.
Simple, fair, and no lock-in. Here is exactly how payment and ownership work.
Payment & Terms: A deposit based on your chosen package gets us started; the balance is due once the site is fully complete and the domain is set up and live. Managed plans are then billed monthly through Stripe (secure card) from go-live, month-to-month with no contract, cancel any time, and prepay a year for two months free. Leave a managed plan any time and the site and domain stay yours, with a full hand-off. Optional add-on: an online store, accept cards right on the site, available whenever you want it. Pricing valid 30 days from the date above; once you pick a plan I will send a secure Stripe link to get started.
On this plan specifically: Google Business Profile management is billed monthly from the day the first profile is submitted, not from the day it is verified, since the setup work happens first. Both profiles are created under your Google account with me added as a manager, so they stay yours. No rankings or search positions are promised, by me or by anyone; the deliverables above are what you are paying for.
